Let Vacation Begin...Presents wrapped...more pillows..no snow still....

Helloooooo....Well, I wanted to check in real quick just in case I don't have time later since we are on vacation, Yahoo!!..I am sorry I will quite teasing.... I wish I could take a week off every month, wouldn't that be great... haha...

Bre and Vince went and looked at a mansion for their wedding today and I am soooo excited to hear how it went..  Wish it would be nice out and summer weather so can see how it might look with all the greenery and flowers but I guess pictures online will have to do..  I can't believe how quick some of these places book up.. Woweeee...

I got some more presents wrapped last night but still need to get some last minute things for grampa and gramma and then we are all done...so bring Christmas on....now if we would just get some snow.... it has barely snowed at all and if it does it's a thin sheet and it just melts right away...  I just want snow at least for Christmas then it can go away again... teehee....

I finished a couple more pillows last night.
I thought the reindeers would be a great match for the Sleigh pillow.. teehee...

I posted this Snowmen pillow and a friend wants 3 by Monday.. YAY!!

She also asked me if I had any pillows w/ horses on them...I don't, not sure how much of a demand there would be for those.... but I found a picture she liked and so I am going to attempt to make my own stencil again....  Hopefully it will work out and I will post a photo of it when it's done.

Have a wonderful weekend!  Hugs, Tina

Santa Pillow...Wedding planning...Merry Christmas!!

Good Morning to ya!!  Well, it's not quite Friday at 4:00 yet but at least it's one step closer to it..  Why am I so anxious for Friday... We are on vacation for a week...  WooHoo...  My hubby and I are lucky enough to both get a week off for Christmas..What do you have planned for the holidays?  We are staying home for the holidays.  We go to my grandparents on Christmas Eve for dinner and open presents.  Bre usually stays the night at our house and we open presents at our house on Christmas day then we go back to my grandparents for Christmas day dinner...

I am all caught up on Christmas orders, I only have a prim dress and bag holder to finish for a friend but she doesnt need by Christmas so....I decided I wanted to make a pillow for me.. It turned out so cute and I love it.. I posted it on  My Facebook page just to show Christmas goodies around my house..  A friend text me about it for her mom for Christmas....so...I guess it will be going to a different home now but...  I can always make another.. I was so happy at the response so maybe I should make a couple.. haha..  Here it is:

So.. onto the wedding plans.. Bre and Vince are all over it...  Got their guest list started, picked out her colors, who will stand with them, her maid of honor came over last night with a binder with Bre and Vince's photo on the outside of it and all sorts of info inside.. teehee...  I think this will be very fun for the both of them...Now to find the right venue... She really wants it to be this coming summer so our grandparents can be there and nana and poppy so there is sort of a rush on picking a date and hoping it won't be taken...  Bre and I are looking at wedding dresses this Saturday..Fun fun....

Well, since I will be on vacation, I might not get on here til after the holidays...
Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!! Hugs, Tina

Operation Secret Proposal.....A success!

What an exciting weekend!!  Our daughter and Vince have been dating for 7 years.  He came over on Thursday and asked our permission to marry Bre... We were very excited.  He is a great guy and they are so cute together so we couldn't be happier.  So.... now on to Operation Secret Proposal...  There were 77 of us that all had seats at the Chiefts Hockey Game on Saturday which is called the Teddy Bear Toss night.  This was their very first date 7 years ago...  So....  during the first intermission when the clock hit 16:00 I was to get Bre up (to go to the little girls room, she thought anyways.. teehee) and when she looked up they would be holding up letters that spelled out "BREANNA WILL YOU MARRY ME" but... she wasnt looking upward so... I had to sort of nudge her that way and when she saw what it said, she turned to Vince and he proposed and she said "YES"...  Yahoo!!  So.. we had some celebrating to do afterwards... I think we might have done it a little too much though.. teehee...

Here is the happy couple after she said yes...

Now on to the fun part of planning the wedding.. oh gees.. so many things to do.. haha..

Well, have a great day friends!! Hugs, Tina

Stenciled Pillow...Am I really almost caught up??

Good Friday morning blogging friends.

I have a friend on Facebook who has requested a pillow with a special saying on it so I had to make my own stencil...  Now this is only the 2nd time I have made my own stencil and the first one was just to try it out and see how it went.. haha... This friend buys alot of my goodies and was very specific of the saying she wanted, the colors of fabric, ribbon.... everything so I do feel a little pressure to make sure she will love it so this one seems like it has taken me a little longer to make.... Last night I got the saying hand stenciled on the burlap, the ribbon sewn on and tonight I just have to sew the back to the front and stuff it...  I have to say, I think it is pretty darn cute.. I sure hope she loves it.....

I also hand stenciled another saying on to some fabric and have one more I want to do and then I can make them into pillows..  Sure hope they turn out cute..teehee...

I have a couple more angels for orders and then I think I am all caught up and I can work on whatever I want..  Hmmmm.. so many choices, what will it be??

Today we have our Christmas lunch for work at Luigi's.. Oh yum... Italian is my fav...I always try to schedule our lunch on a Friday so we are only here a couple hours after lunch and then it's time to go home for the weekend.. Yippee....

Well friends, I guess, that's it for now.  Hope you have a great weekend...

Here I am....Christmas decorations up... Prim Ice Skates

Morning friends!! Just in case you were wondering where I have been lately, wanted to let you know I am still here.. haha..  Geesh, I had no idea how busy I would be this season with Christmas orders .  Boy oh boy am I jumping up for joy though and feeling blessed so many have loved my prims enough to want for their own...  And... we have picked up here a bit at work which is always great so I have to sneak here and there to be on the computer.  I don't even know where to start it's been so long since I updated y'all.

First of all, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving..We went over to my grandparents and helped with dinner.  Bre and I always look forward to all those Black Friday ads so we can see if anything we want to get for anyone then we plan our attack, which store to hit first and so on and so on...  After dinner, Bre and I went home and wrapped all of our presents that we had already bought, since we were trying to kill time waiting for 11 pm to get here so we could go stand in line for Black Friday..We started at Target and boy was it brrrrr cold out there.. Yikes.. There were alot of people already in line so we had to stand around the side of the building for about an hour til the clock struck MIDNIGHT!!  Target always has the best blankets on sale... They are so soft and you can get any size for the same price and every year I think Bre gets one and I never do and always love hers so this year I decided I wanted one.. hehe..so I bought one for myself...  So after getting everything we went to Target for and no dilly dallying or we would be in line forever, we were on to Shopko.. Why oh why do we go to Shopko.. Ugh...  This is the worst line ever and I was in line for over and hour.  Usually it doesn't seen that bad but this year bre wanted some things for her new home and they were heavy heavy so I had to put them on the floor and push them with my foot.. haha..  So...  when I was finally able to checkout, we needed a refill on engergy so we hit Starbucks and off to the Mall we went..  After going to all the stores we needed stuff at, we finally got home about 5:30 am... I was so tired but I had filled up with so much coffee to stay awake I couldn't hardly sleep.. hehe..  I did manage to sneak in a couple hours before we went back out again..  I can say I definitley don't like Black Friday shopping starting at midnight.  I thought would be better since I would just stay up instead of trying to get up extra early to go shopping by 4 am..  but nope...  So, we will see how next year goes.. teehee...

We have been putting xmas decorations out a bit here and there since Thanksgiving but just got our tree up this week.

Here's Misty in her Mrs. Claus dress coat..  she looks so darn cute.. haha..

I haven't had alot of time to make new goodies to share but here are some Ice Skates I finished this week.  I have 2 pairs made for sale.  If you are interested, please let me know.  You can find more details on these Here

Here are a couple things I made on request for a FB friend:

Do ya think she is a WV fan?  teehee

You can find all of my prims on my FB page Tina's Primitive Attic

I can't believe I am seeing Valentines and St. Patty's day goodies already offered..  Geesh,,, I am not even done with Christmas / Winter goodies yet.. haha.. I guess it will be here before we know it...

Hope the holidays are wonderful for you so far...I just love this time of year with the decorations, the Christmas shows, just the happiness it seems to bring out in others...

Well, I guess I better get back to work, I just wanted to say hi!!

Seahawks game....Is it really November 1st? Really?

Good morning, still can't believe it is the 1st of November...  Geesh, does it seem like Christmas will be here before ya know it or is it just me? hehe...  I am usually so much farther ahead with my xmas shopping but nope, not this year... Yikes!!!

Well, we had a great time in Seattle.. The weather was blue skies and perfect on Saturday so we went downtown, got a little shopping done, stopped at PF Changs for some drinks and then back to my MIL's to visit for a while before dinner...  Her birthday was yesterday so we took them out for dinner.

Sunday we went to the Seahawks game.. Oh boy...  I am trying to stay positive but between us not playing real well and the ref's calls, make that another loss.. Yikes!! Oh well, we all had a blast so that is all that matters.. Righ?

and....We had to take advantage of the free photo shoot at the game.. teehee..  You gotta just be silly once in a while.. haha.. Bre and her boyfriend Vince are on the left and my hubby Sean and I are on the right.

We all had yesterday off so that was nice after being gone all weekend.  Went to Greenbluff and picked up all my stuff from the show.  Got some things picked up and put away, got my halloween decor put away and took my fall stuff out and even got more snowmen on bedsprings finished...

I have a show this comping weekend but it isn't looking like I will be able to make anything new for it.  I am still filling orders so hopefully what I have made is enough..

Hope you all had a great Halloween and have a great week!

Hugs, Tina

Busy busy, but wanted to say hi and Happy Hump Day!!

Happy Hump Day!!
One day closer to Friday, ya gotta love that...

Just dropping in real quick to say hi..  Been a busy week, taking Gramma to her appointments, getting hair "did" tonight and trying to get some orders done before we head out of town this weekend.. No wonder I am tired this week. hehe..

We are heading to a Seahawks game this Sunday so let's hope they win!!    My hubbies mom lives in Seattle so we will get to stay with them and visit all weekend.  Should be fun, hope it doesn't rain the whole time but I am packing my rain jacket just in case, never know about Seattle.

Well, friends, that's it for today.. Sorry such a short post but I better get busy...  Have a great weekend and Halloween if I don't get to stop by before then..

Happy Thursday....Snowman on Rusty Spring

Well, one day closer to Friday!  Yahoo...  We are having such nice fall weather this week.  It isnt that cold and still isn't raining, so love it...  Hope it isn't too cold where you are..  I do love the snow but only during the week of Xmas when I am off.. haha..

Not alot going on today, at least not while I am work..  I have some things to do but sit here thinking of all the things I need to make for others when I get home.. teehee...Guess my mind is on more fun things.

I posted a photo of this guy on my facebook today and I was so excited at all the interest in him.  I made a couple last year and they weren't nearly as excited about him at my shows as they are online this year..  Oh it makes me so happy..  Yay!
You can view details on this snowman on my FB page: Tina's Primitive Attic

I was just thinking as soon as I get caught up I can start working out again after work then craft after that... Looks like working out is on hold again.. oh darn.. ya know I was really looking forward to it too.. NOT.. haha..

Well, hope you have had a great Thursday so far and hope the rest of the week is good to you.  Hugs, Tina

Blue Moon Pumpkins ... basket makeover and... I Won!!

Good morning lovely friends.. I hope this Wednesday has started out wonderful for you all...  It is another nice day here and supposed to get to 60 again, I will take that all fall please.. haha..

I took a few photos of my pumpkins outside and just a little decor inside to share with you.

Yep, that's a Blue Moon in the back and two little green ones in front.

White, Blue Moon and tiny orange pumpkins.

Jack O'Lantern Pantry Cakes and my Plymouth Scentsy Warmer (Leaf lid on the top, perfect for my fall decor)

I won this hanging Crow with Sunflowers from Kim at The Barn Hollow.  Isn't he so prim and adorable. I think this is just the right spot for him.  Hard to tell but he has some fall leaves behind him, just love the colors... Thanks again Kim!!

I wanted to share a makeover I did on a basket I found at a thrift store.

Here the basket is how I purchased it:

Here is after I painted it black.  So... should I leave it or sand and stain it a little?
I just love these bittersweet and pip berries in it.

I started some angels and snowman ornies for a couple orders last night.  Since we have our stuff in that booth all month and I am not doing as many shows myself, I feel lik I am slacking a little..  I have a show on Nov 5 & 6 so I need to kick it into gear.. Geesh!!  What to make??  So many ideas and so little time, or energy.. teehee.

Well, I think that's it for today.  Have a wonderful day and thanks for visiting me!!

Pumpkins and a little decorating

Morning Friends!!  Well today the sky is a little cloudy but no rain and it is supposed to get up to 60 today...

I am excited to say I found some Blue Moon Pumpkins last night... They aren't a real dark blue, sort of a light bluish green.. Pretty though.  I also got a couple small green pumpkins to go with my white and orange I already have.  They had an orange and white pumpkin that was so cute and I really wanted it but the only two they had were pretty large and I probably have enough pumpkins for now..  The guy said it was called a creamsicle or something like that.. hehe..  Too dark last night to get any photos but will try and get some so I can share with you.

Here is my little box with my cute small pumpkins in it.. I just love how it looks..  I am already trying to think of what I can put in it next.. teehee...

Changed things a little on my fireplace.  I have my Jack O' Lantern Scentsy Warmer w/ Pumpkin Marshmallow burning in it (OH YUM!), my candle holders with some real bittersweet, a small pumpkin I made in front of the candle holder and look at this cute witch doll... Rchelle, a friend I am sharing the booth with this month made her and I just love her and her little kitty cat.  And I can't forget about my cute stacking pumpkins that light up..

So I was wondering if any of you are having this same type of issue.  My right arm, elbow area is so sore lately...  I don't know if it's cuz I sit here at my computer all day and my arm is bent so I can type and then I go home and sew and it is of course bent the same so I can sew.  It is just so sore and has been just aching.  My hubby said it's probably like tennis elbow or should I say sewing elbow.. haha.. I have been trying to stretch it and put stuff on it but nothing seems to help..  oh well.. for now it isn't stopping me.. haha

Well, that's it for today.  Thanks for letting me share my ramblings with you!   Have a wonderful day.

Why does Monday sneak up on us so fast

Well, we had a great but busy weekend.  Got up early Saturday so we could go out to our booth at Green Bluff, I had to pick up some goodies I had there for my aunt and a couple other ladies.  If was such a beautiful day already so we decided to drive to some of the farms in the area and look at their pumpkins...  I was on the hunt for some Blue Moon pumpkins..  No one had any... booooo.. I did have a friend that was helping to unload a truck full of pumpkins.  He text saying some red, white and green ones then text again saying some blueish ones but...  we were at a hockey game when they were finished and then yesterday was football...  Wonder if there are any left... hmmmm...  Boy they sure are hard to find around here.  Mabye... I will run up there tonight and see if they have any left.. haha..

Yesterday I started early...  Got up, got the dishes going, laundry started, cleaning and tidying up a little bit...  Since Seattle wasn't playing yesterday it gave me time to get some housework done and also get some crafting done too..  I got quite a bit accomplished too..  Got some pumpkins made for my husband's mom, one for Bre, some candy corn for my aunt and then some ghosts for another aunt.  I even started some candy canes for a sweet lady from my FB page.  Felt like I got alot accomplished.. Yay me!!!

I got a wooden box at an antique store last week and didnt know what I was going to do with it, I just knew I loved it and it wasn't that expensive.  This is their photo of it.
I put it on my coffee table and put mini pumpkins in it and oh boy do I love it.. teehee... Course I took a photo but forgot it.. Geesh.. I hope to share that with you later.

I also got a rather large wooden bowl and have no idea where to put it or what to put in it yet.  It was also a great buy that I just couldn't pass up.

Well, I thank you all for stopping by.  I hope you let me know you were here by commenting.  Hope you have had a great start to your week.

Have I really been gone this long?? So much to share...

OH boy!!  I can't believe it has been a month exactly since my last post..  I didn't forget about you, I promise and hope you didn't all forget about me.  I can't believe how busy I have been.  I guess trying to keep up a blog, My Facebook Page, making goodies to sell online and craft shows and working my full time job is more time consuming than I had anticipated.. haha..

Let's see, where did I last leave off?  oh yes, last time I told you how my daughter got some stuff stolen from her back yard.  Well, a couple days later, the neighbors only a couple doors down and on a busy street even got their back door kicked in and stuff stolen.  Then just a few days later, Vince was putting their dog out in the backyard and looked around and some guy was standing at his side gate with a back pack trying to get in, and it was only like 8:30 am.. Yikes.. So Vince ran into the house grabbed his car keys started to chase after him but couldnt catch up quick enough..  He got away... Can't believe how gutsy these creeps are getting now days..  Since then they put some huge bright lights in the front of their house and sensor ones in the back yard and nothing has happened since.. Let's hope it stays that way.

I got invited to join some very talented ladies in a craft booth in our Green Bluff Grange craft show that they have every year.  We have our stuff out there this whole month of October so trying to get ready for that last minute had me running around like a crazy women trying to figure out what to make and get it ready for the show.  The good thing is we are taking turns so we only had to work the booth last weekend.. So far it has been pretty slow.. Lots of looky loos but it has been so nice that they were mostly going through the corn maze, picking apples, pumpkins and stuff to do with the chitlins...  This weekend is supposed to be the busiest weekend so lets hope.  Here are a few things I have made since my last post that I would like to share with you.

All of these Christmas goodies and others can be found here on my Tina's Primitive Attic Facebook page.

Click Here For details on these Halloween goodies

I have been selling from my Tina's Primitive Attic Facebook page and am surprissed how well it has been going.  It sure warms my heart to have others love my goodies enough to want to give them a new home.  I intended to only sell what I had made and on hand but have had so many requests for more than what is listed so now I do both..So far I have been able to keep up.. Slacking a little this week though, been playing a little.  I guess that just needs to be done once in a while.. teehee

It was time to change the decorations on my little tree with Halloween coming up.. And... since I loved my gingers and stars from Rachel Albanese I had to get more little salt dough ornies from her.  I made the witch hat for the topper.  Look how darn cute my little tree looks all ready for Halloween.

I was also the lucky winner of an adorably prim Crow & Sunflower wall hanging from The Barn Hollow!!  I am so excited... I just love this pattern but never make any for me and this one is all mine.. hehe.. Thanks so much Kim!!

Oh,, have you ever heard of Blue Pumpkins?  Well, here they are rare, never heard of them or seen any til a friend posted a link on her FB page.  Check out these Blue Moon Pumpkins .  Oh my gosh, I so love the color of these..  I starting looking right away to see if we had any of these locally..  A friend is helping to unload a truck of pumpkins this weekend and he said he would keep an eye out for some and let me know.  I am so hoping...

The weather has been pretty nice around here...  I am glad it hasn't been too cold yet.  The leaves are starting to turn and it looks so beautiful.  I sure wish fall would stay like this. I was just talking to my grandpa and realizing that Thanksgiving is already next month, wow... I just can't believe how fast this year has gone.

Well, I guess that is it for now.  Boy, I feel like I am forgetting to share something with you.. I really miss you all.  I hope you all have been well.    Have a wonderful weekend friends.  Hugs, Tina

I need a clone or more hours in the day..My goodies from fellow crafters..

So, what has happened since I last posted?   Last Friday we were closed here at work.  Went to my bosses son's funeral.  It was a very nice funeral and very touching..  I had such a headache after though from all my sniffling.  Saturday my daughter and I went to a small vintage show at someone's beautiful house...  They just set up a bunch of tents and booths in the front yard and made a show out of it..  There weren't alot of booths but we always seem to manage to find someting we can't live without.  I got a yellow enamelware pot with a lid for $9 and there was another one in the same show going for $22 so I felt very lucky to have gotten it...  I also got a tea bag holder that is metal and rusting for $2..  Breanna bought a really cute big basket for $12.  Later we headed to the Spokane County Fair they have every year.. It was so darn hot outside that we barely lasted a couple hours then headed home.

Sunday we got up early and starting making our snacks that we were going to have during football.  Let's see,,, my hubby made southwest egg rolls and I made a mexican layered dip, chili, cucumbers and onions in vinegar.  My hubby also decided he was going to make Pina Colada's.. Boy were those yummy and went down really easy... teehee...  Breanna and her boyfriend came over in their Seahawks colors and clothing and watched football with us.. I did get some goodies stuffed while watching football but that was it..  Decided no crafting on Sundays so can spend the day with the fam...Even though the Seahawks lost,,, errrrrr..  we had a very nice day

The week so far hasnt been too bad..  Bre did have some thieves steal some things from their backyard on Tuesday morning really early... They have only been in the house a couple months and already this is happening.  We gave them a patio set where the chairs were bar stool height...  The creeps got away with 3 of the chairs and the stool that goes behind the patio set, all the candles and holders we gave them for their set and back yard and Vince's sister's bike...  Said it looked like they were trying to take the patio table too which is quite a big table but must have gotten spooked... Vince went and talked to the neighbors and one said she saw a white truck parked in front of her house hauling furniture away but thought was her other neighbor that had been moving out...  Wow.. how ballsy..  almost in front of their house and walk from the front yard in between both of their houses to steal stuff.. and in the process the creeps put a nasty deep scratch on Bre's car...  The kids couldnt hear cuz they have an air conditioner in their window that is pretty noisy... They took that out of course.. I was just hoping the thieves weren't coming back for the rest of the set...  This just makes me sick to my stomach..  Such low lifes.. Get your own job, your own life and your own stuff...  ugh!!!  Every time I talk about it I get more worked up so let's move onto something else.. teehee...

I have had the hardest time getting all these ornies / tucks / bowl fillers completed... why are they taking me so darn long??  Geesh!!!  Here are a couple of the Gingers and Bats I have finished.

Primitive Gingerbread
These are approx 8" tall
4 avail and ready to ship
$6 ea + shipping

Primitive Bats
Approximately 8 1/2" to 9" wide
1 ready to ship
(had 4 this morning but 3 sold as soon as posted on my FB page)
$4 ea + shipping

You can find the above goodies and others on my Tina's Primitive Attic Facebook page.

I need to step it up as I have a gal asking me for some goodies and she is thinking she wants 6 of each...  oh boy...  I need two of me, more hours in the day or something.. haha...

Now, I want to share some goodies I have purchased from a couple of great gals...  I am finally the lucky owner of one of Lecia's Bonnets..  omgosh.. don't you just love the color and the print of the fabric..  Reminds me of civil war fabric.. Soooo Love it!!!  Can't thank you enough Lecia for making it for me.

and for my little tree that I keep up all year round in my kitchen...  I asked Rachel at Somewhere in the Middle if she could make me some gingers and stars and look what she made me....

Omgosh they are so cute..  Rachel made the gingers and the red and white stars.  I already had the little wooden stars with rusty stars in the center of them.  I bought them at a craft show but she never did the show again and I needed some more goodies for my tree that were more prim that what I had on there...  I couldn't be happier but I might get a few more of them to hang on my little tree...  Thanks so much Rachel!!

Well, I guess that is it for posting today...  Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to read my little blog...  Hugs, Tina
